As I was on my way to my deer stand on the Sunday morning after deer opener in Minnesota, I got turned around and was lost in the middle of a dense popple forest. I searched to find my stand for the next half hour in darkness, trying to disturb as little as possible, I eventually came across my father’s old stand that he hadn’t used in years. As the sun rose, the thought came to me, not many people get the chance to get lost in the woods. So, I decided to create something that will give back to create opportunities for others to not get lost, but rather not have to worry about losing the chances of watching their child pick up their first frog or testing your sportsmanship in the wild.
